About the Author
Kathy Kale Nelson is an electrical engineer with over 30 years of experience and the author of STEM Super Stars: Women of Today Changing the World. Through her podcast Ordinarily Extraordinary — Conversations with Women in STEM, Kathy has interviewed nearly 150 women working across science, technology, engineering, and mathematics — and noticed a persistent gap: girls still don't see themselves in these careers. The coloring book is her answer to that. Featuring 25 real, working women in STEM, STEM Super Stars is designed to normalize women in these fields and show girls that they can be exactly who they are and still build an extraordinary career in science or engineering.
